Senior Food Service Handler

The Department of Children and Families, Office of Education (OOE) has an immediate need for a Senior Food Service Handler.

This position assists with the work involved in food preparation and service and may take the lead in a group of Food Service Workers, patients, or inmates engaged in storing and preparing food for cooking and in serving food; transports prepared meals; does related work. This position is in Port Murray, NJ.

Please note that schools within OOE have a 12-month school year.

EXPERIENCE: One (1) year of experience in general unskilled kitchen or food service work.

LICENSE: Appointees will be required to possess a driver’s license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.

SALARY: $32,605.90 – $45,369.97
