Salem Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, a long term care facility located in Purdys, NY.

We are seeking a Full Time Food Service Worker

The role of the Food Service Worker is to provide our residents with all of their meals and/or snacks in a sanitary and safe manner adhering to all policies and procedures of the facility while focusing on customer service and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Tray up food and beverages for residents
• Clean and prepare the dining areas
• Respond to resident inquires and requests in a timely fashion
• Help in maintaining a clean kitchen (dishwashing, floors, trash, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Some High School Education

Work Experience: Experience working in a kitchen in a healthcare setting preferred but not required

Job Knowledge/Requirements:

• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and be flexible
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Exemplary customer service skills.
• Minimum 18 yrs. age required

Job Type: Full-Time- Shifts may vary 6:30am- 3pm, 11:30am-8pm. 3:15pm-9pm
