Our client is looking for Production Workers to join their team in Essex.These are Direct Hire Positions with opportunities to grow and learn new roles.Pay ranges from $15 $20 based on experience.PRODUCTION WORKERS SHIFTS/PAY:2nd: 2:45 pm 11:15 pm3rd: 10:45 pm 7:15 amPRODUCTION WORKER ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:o Complete tasks at an assigned stationo Understand, and follow, all safety instructions and practiceso Assist Machine Operators with loading/unloading production equipmento Assist with monitoring quality of products and take corrective actions as instructed.o Good communication and attendance.o Help to prepare machine(s) for production startup at beginning of shift andsafely/correctly shut down machineo Track production supplies at assigned station and ensure proper levels maintainedo Track production output and quality level periodically throughout and at end of shift.o Actively contributes to on-going housekeeping responsibilities by keeping work centers,and factory, clean, neat, and safe as a working environment.PRODUCTION WORKER EDUCATION, SKILLS AND/OR EXPERIENCE:o HS Diploma or equivalent required.o Some mechanical aptitude. Good manual dexterity a pluso Previous exposure within a manufacturing setting desired, but will train otherwise qualified candidates. Experience in a high-velocity production line a plus Possess English Language skills and be able to: Understand written and spoken safety, quality, and machine process instructions Ability to communicate with team members, supervisors, managers, and others, both asking and answering questions as required.o Computer Skills: Ability to comfortably operate in a Windows environment needed. Willingness to learn additional skills such as Excel, a plus.CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR PRODUCTION WORKER POSITION:o The applicant must pass a specified drug screen prior to starting employment, basic background check, and reference check.o Security Clearances:This position requires the applicant to complete, be granted, and maintain, a US Department of State MRPT clearance as a condition of employment.Working Conditions for Production Worker Positions:Works primarily on the manufacturing floor, which requires the incumbent to be able to sit, stand, and or walk for an entire shift.
