About The Opportunity Position Summary Plans and establishes production schedules. Monitors materials inventories, tracks progress of production, and reviews factors which affect schedules. Essential to this Position Review demand and create production schedules on primary and secondary operations to meet and exceed service expectations of the customer Maintain all planning master data Monitor raw materials inventory levels and focus on meeting monthly inventory targets Manage supplier relationships and provide feedback to ensure customer needs are met Review demand and execute purchases to support manufacturing distribution Primary communicator to sales and customer support around orders and lead times Participate in departmental “load balancing” with new vendors as assigned Other duties as assigned Education / Certifications Education Required High School Diploma or Equivalent Education Desired Bachelor’s Degree Skills & Experience Work Experience Required Some relevant experience required. Additional Requirements Experience in Scheduling or Purchasing in a manufacturing environmentExperience in plastic injection molding operationsPossess strong judgement and decision-making skillsCan prioritize to achieve deadlines in a fast pace environmentAbility to handle the stress of working with othersAvailability outside of normal business hoursAbility to lead by exampleAbility to travel up to 10% both domestically and internationally to support the business, includingovernight stays and extended work hours during work meetings, travel may include weekendsAbility to obtain a passport
