Church Street Jasper GA 30143) and tell them you are there for a job with CMI Summary/Objective The Extrusion Down-Streamer is an employee with responsibilities for being able to inspect & package all production related products.

The role is to help ensure that their team achieves the Company’s goals and abides by all Safety, Housekeeping, Quality, and Pounds & Yield standards, set forth on a daily basis.

The Extrusion Down-Streamer works in conjunction with their Lead, Operators, other Down-Streamers, Tooling & Maintenance Technicians, Materials Coordinator, Production Scheduler, and Production Manager.

Essential Functions Ongoing Must work in a safe and appropriate manner.

Report all safety related incidents.

Housekeeping of all assigned areas must be up to the set area standards.

Daily responsible for upkeep and improvement Perform continuous inspections of product both visual as well as through the use of calipers and appropriate measuring devices.

Ensure all production meets the quality standards set forth and is properly documented throughout the shift.

Issues should be communicated in a timely manner Slide boards from all bundles produced is mandatory QC Checks, Product Labeling, and other necessary production paperwork must be completed on time and correctly 100% of the time Ensure packaging materials are stocked, organized, and to minimum inventory levels Finished product should be properly stored Must assist in Die Change-Over and On-Line Die Cleaning functions Assist maintenance in entering needed work orders Any necessary “other” assigned work to be completed at management’s instruction Job Competencies Communication proficiency Technical capacity Administrative and Computer abilities Great attention to detail Time management – ability to organize and manage multiple priorities Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Work Environment This position works in a manufacturing/warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday.

The noise level in work environment is usually moderate to high.

Proper PPE will be administered.
