NEW STARTING WAGE = $15.00 PER HOUR!!!

At Champion Home Builders in Benton, Ky, we are currently looking for an additional 20 people to join our team.

Currently, our bonus program is based on an incentive program and driven by performance!

Starting base wage is $15.00 per hour or possible higher based on current skillsetAll employees are eligible to participate in our bonus program, which pays an additional $3.00
– $5.00 an hour, after 30 days of continuous employment.

Although experience in the following areas is preferred, we are also willing to train the right individual: electrical, sanding, mudding, painting, roofing, framing, and finish carpentry.

Applicants must have a favorable attendance record, favorable safety record, and reliable transportation.

Summary Under General supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing, as part of a team, and perform quality work at a fast moving and consistent manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Other duties may be assigned.

Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned.

Keeps area neat and clean.

Read and use a tape measure

Read blue prints and orders

Communicate well with coworkers

Use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools

Competencies

Must have a strong work ethic

Must have the ability to work quickly and methodically

Must understand safety procedures

Must have good teamwork skills

Must live the Champion Operating Principles

Qualifications

Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing desired.
