CDL Driver, Gigafactory Nevada

Responsibilities* Daily truck and trailer inspection.* Vehicle cleaning including wash and minor detailing.* Obtaining scale weights and refueling.* Capable of performing material handling practices within the warehouse environment in between loads.* Miscellaneous jobs as required.Requirements* Valid driver’s license with Class A CDL and current DOT Physical Examination medical card. Clean driving record, insurable, and subject to review.* TSA driver hazardous materials endorsement required and 48′ – 53′ tractor trailer hauling experience preferred.* Great work ethic & team player – level headed, detail oriented, safety contentious, courteous, flexible, punctual, professional, and customer focused.* High School diploma or equivalent experience and exceptional ability.* Accurately maintain daily driver log-book, pre-check, and post-check of truck. Ability to maintain a clean driving record with a high level of safety awareness on the roadways.* Ability to lift and move heavy boxes (up to 60 pounds) and manually pallet jack heavy material on/off trucks. Forklift Certification training a plus; will be required to operate on occasion.* Knowledge of local major and minor roadways and adherence to federal motor carrier safety regulations / DOT guidelines.* Good communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to follow instructions.* Able to work OT as required and work within 250 mile air radius of Tesla Gigafactory.* Position subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
