Position Responsibilities Include:Lead Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in analyzing product development, complex producibility studies and production/tooling philosophiesRefine, validate, coordinate and implement conceptual designs and manage the program architecture for buildDevelop manufacturing plans and oversees plan optimizationConduct complex producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirementsResolve complex technical problemsServe as a project manager to ensure that contract requirements, specifications, design criteria and schedule performance are integrated and maintainedLead advanced design solutions and supports research of new product or business opportunitiesDeploy company Lean Enterprise analysis methodsDocument and communicate producibility best practicesProvide guidance to others through structured mentoringThis role requires travel up to 10%.Must be able to work occasional evenings, weekends and holidays.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.

An interim and/or final U.S.

Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry5+ years of experience leading a Production Engineering Team.Must be able to work occasional evenings, weekends and holidays..

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Currently have or have held an active U.S.

Security Clearance in the past 24 months5+ years of experience working with satellite or space-based payloadsExperience with satellite antenna subsystems, and the antenna subsystem lifecycle: design, analysis, manufacturing, procurements, and assembly, integration, and test Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.G.

Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.G.

PhD+4 years’ related work experience, Master+7 years’ related work experience).

In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
