Our employees are actively involved in the design, engineering and manufacture of technologically advanced medical devices that ensure that we meet our customer’s quality specifications for each product we produce.We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Tech to join our Portland location on both our swing shift and graveyard shift.Swing shift will receive a 5% shift differentialGraveyard shift will receive a 20% shift differentialThis Engineering Tech will apply strong engineering fundamentals and leadership to develop and maintain innovative “Best In Class” manufacturing technologies and processes.What You’ll Do:Directly supports operations through programming maintenance and occasional machine setup responsibilities.Directly supports the qualification and validation activities associated with manufacturing equipment and special processes.Develops work instructions and necessary documentation to train associates and sustain manufacturing proficiencies.Identify trends and opportunities to systemically improve quality, reduce cost, reduce lead time, and reduce scrap.Work with manufacturing personnel, sales, customers and direct reports to satisfy new product development efforts.Utilize teams to accomplish improvement projects.
