The Boeing Company is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Engineer to join the Space and Launch team.

This Manufacturing Engineering position will be based in the Puget Sound area and support the S-QQ program.
Position Responsibilities
The ideal candidate for this position will have technical experience across multiple areas of manufacturing engineering planning including: structures and mechanisms, mechanical, and electrical systems.

The Manufacturing Engineer on will be responsible for authoring and updating Work Instructions, and 3D Model Based Work Instructions (MBIs).

Experience working with CATIA V5 and PDM tools such as TeamCenter and ENOVIA is a plus.

Space and Launch supports a variety of programs ranging from technology development to initial production, and as such is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with experience in multiple activities including implementation of design for manufacturing, development of cost-reduction redesign opportunities, and incorporation of engineering changes.

The ideal candidate will have strong balance between technical skills, and strength in communications, presentation, creativity, vision, and work ethic.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S.

Security Clearance for which the U.S.

Government requires U.S.

Citizenship.

A final U.S.

Top Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from Aerospace, Electrical, Systems or Mechanical Engineering
– or related technical course of study
2 or more years of progressively more responsible experience in Manufacturing Engineering or a closely related Production Engineering discipline (Industrial Engineering or Tool Engineering)
Experience with manufacturing execution systems such as MESci
Experience with Product Data Management tools/systems such as TeamCenter and ENOVIA
Experience with Computer Aided Design tools such as CATIA V5 or NX/Unigraphics
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting both Development and Production programs
Experience in the Production Engineering Start Right Implementation
Typical Education & Experience
Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor’s and 2 or more years’ experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.

Master).

Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.

ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
