Manufacturing company is looking for an Assembly Technician for our Montgomeryville, PA location.

$45,000-55,000/year Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm Requirements: HS Diploma or GED Experience with the use of epoxy adhesives, manual wire bonding, soldering/assembly, use of a microscope for extended periods of time and measurement equipment Previous experience in an assembly/technician role Excellent verbal and written communication skills Basic computer proficiency is needed Job Requirements: Duties: Will be a part of a team that are responsible for the assembly of packaged infrared detector devices.
Assembly of small electronic components under microscope with the aid of hand tools.
Manually positions components by eye or with aid of alignment equipment.
Capping devices in controlled environment glove box.
Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedule.
Reports defective materials and/or questionable conditions to supervision.
Maintains a log of material handled for tracing purposes.
Keeps work area, equipment and materials clean, organized and properly identified.
