Warehouse Worker for Radiator Core Mfg.

Job Summary: Boxes product and performs warehousing activities which include checking inventory, stocking shelves, pulling parts, staging and loading orders for shipment.
Essential Job Duties:
Process work orders, box and label manufactured product accordingly.

Receives labels and/or pick tickets for warehouse parts to be pulled for delivery or shipment.

Pulls parts from the appropriate bins and delivers to staging area for loading.

Operates a forklift to transport parts in and about warehouse or to the shipping area.

Palletizes product, loads trucks and performs a final check off of parts.

Sorts and places stock on appropriate racks, shelves and/or bins.

Verifies in-stock product information for inside sales staff.

Maintains orderliness and housekeeping of assigned work areas.

Complies with established company policies and procedures.

Assumes other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
Basic Qualifications: Prior warehouse experience helpful.
Education & Experience: High School graduate or equivalent.

Warehousing experience supplemented by on-the-job training, to learn duties, nature of work performed, procedures, work methods, to become familiar with the company’s products, equipment, operating methods, and to attain proficiency requirements and to fully assume responsibilities of the job.

Forklift certification required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: General knowledge and ability to perform relatively simple work using basic arithmetic.

Must be able to recognize numbered bin locations.

Must be familiar with the company’s products, warehouse methods and procedures.

Must be able to work in cooperation with others.

Must be attentive to detail to ensure accuracy of work performed.

Must communicate effectively with others.
Machines/Equipment: Instapak packaging equipment, box stapler, tape gun, forklift, pallet jack, pull cart, hand cart, ladder, RF Gun, printers, calculator, copier, fax machine, PC and telephone.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
This position requires individuals to constantly be on their feet except when operating machinery.

Should not have any lifting restrictions and must not be afraid of heights.

Must be able to stand for long periods, sit, walk, push, pull, bend, climb and be able to move/lift up to 75 pounds regularly.

Must be able to climb ladders, stairs and withstand heights of more than 15 feet.

May be exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat.

The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
