Warehouse workers needed!

Starting wage up to $15/Hour depending on experience!!

POSITION SUMMARY:

Warehouse Workers are responsible for receiving and shipping merchandise at our Distribution Center. They maintain the flow of merchandise by accurately checking in, loading/unloading, and delivering it to the proper location.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Receives merchandise deliveries
2. Records and checks quantity and quality of merchandise
3. Properly inputs received merchandise into the computer systems
4. Operates forklift or industrial truck to assist in loading, unloading, or moving merchandise and materials
5. Sort through and separate merchandise based on shipping form
6. Print and hand out transfer orders to manager and prepares outgoing shipments
7. Shrink-wrap palletized merchandise manually
8. Safely stack merchandise on outgoing shipment pallet
9. Safely unstack merchandise from received pallet
10. Safety awareness of anything in the warehouse that may be hazardous to employees or visitors
11. Additional duties, as assigned

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must possess strong work ethic and interpersonal skills
2. Basic computer skills
3. Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work with constantly changing priorities, with enthusiasm
4. Forklift experience is preferred
5. Knowledge of shipping and receiving practices is preferred
6. Ability to:
   • Read and interpret documents such as POs, packing slips, and invoices
   • Understand and follow oral and written instructions
   • Demonstrate initiative and effective problem-solving skills within the scope of the position
