Warehouse Team Lead

Position/Job Descriptionn n A warehouse multi-player ensuring the receipt, coordination, and safety of goods coming through the warehouse.

Also ensures that orders arrive and are dispatched on time to the appropriate destinations and in the expected quantities and on schedule.n n Essential Dutiesn Work with team of pickers/packers, and shipper/receivers with the ability to identify bottlenecks on a day to day basis and reallocate resources appropriately to ensure the warehouse is meeting SLA commitments Ensures the warehouse maintains a level of cleanliness and organization Provides support in any of the pick, pack , and ship areas when volumes increase to provide temporary relief Conducts weekly team meetings Works in accord with all safety regulations of the warehouse and conducts regular safety training with the team Coordinates work flow with team members Monitors fulfillment rates and error logs and takes appropriate actions or process changes to optimize results n n Requirementsn n Qualifications (Education and Experience) n 5+ years of Warehouse experience Some formal educational training in Materials management or equivalent experience Basic knowledge of using and operating warehouse machinery and equipment.

Familiar with WMS software systems Knowledge and experience in supervising day to day operations of a warehouse.

n n Skills And Capabilities (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)n Experience managing process and systems to ensure efficiency and economies of scale Experience with supervising people and creating effective and motivated teams.
