Warehouse Production Worker

We are a local HVAC supplier looking for a warehouse production worker to participate in our warehouse operations and activities.

Warehouse production worker responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing, and delivering orders to construction sites within the Chicagoland area.

The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.

The work schedule is a ten hour shift Monday thru Thursday or Tuesday thru Friday.

Position has potential to become a union position.

Responsibilities

*Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)

*Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)

*Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization

*Report any discrepancies

*Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers

*Operate and preventively maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment

*Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

Skills

*Proven working experience as a warehouse worker

*Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods

*Good organizational and time management skills

*Ability to adjust to changing priorities

*Ability to lift heavy objects

*Forklift skills preferred

*High school degree/GED
