Warehouse Pick/Pack Associate

Mammoth Distribution

This is a Full-time position in Los Angeles, CA posted September 21, 2021.

COMPANY OVERVIEW:

Mammoth is the leading cannabis manufacturing, distribution, and branding company in California. We are looking for Distribution Associates to work collectively and cooperatively as part of a team ensuring distribution goals are met in a timely fashion while observing the highest standards of safety and quality.

The successful candidates will be reliable and punctual and able to perform physical tasks that are repetitive and lift up to 50 lbs.

Ideally, our Distribution Associates will have a minimum of 1-year shipping and inventory experience with effective communication skills, high attention to detail, and a positive and flexible attitude.

JOB SUMMARY:
Pick and pack with consistent speed and accuracy Willing to learn basic databases and inventory systems Convert sales and print invoices to prepare for picking Complete Pick and Pack tasks such as box assembly, packing, and labeling Manually take inventory of stock and to restock supplies to par levels while maintaining high attention to detail To rotate the stock and ensure that the stored area is clean and maintained up to date in accordance with the regulatory requirements Ensure that Distribution requirements and quality standards are met consistently Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency for Distribution without compromising quality Flexible and cooperative to meet changing and unexpected deadlines.

This may include, but is not limited to, being willing to work overtime which may not be scheduled or anticipated in advance.

Work cooperatively with the Distribution team to meet quotas and goals Maintain a clean and safe work area and observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management Follow all written and verbal instructions Attend all safety and Distribution training Consistently demonstrate a positive and professional attitude Maintain confidentiality in accordance with internal standards and requirements May rotate duties with other teams as needed.

Must be cooperative and flexible to perform different roles as requested and required.

Identify ways to enhance efficiency without sacrificing quality Able to work overtime as needed, including nights and weekends.

Employees will be compensated for overtime in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High school graduate
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1-year experience working in manufacturing environment required Inventory experience is a plus Basic math and computer skills (experience with spreadsheets is a plus) Available to work a flexible schedule including unanticipated overtime Capable of reading and understanding production documents and safety manuals Good communication skills Willingness to comply with all safety guidelines at all times Reliable and punctual Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team High attention to detail Ability to understand and speak basic English
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Manual dexterity Able and patient to do repetitive tasks Lifting, bending, reaching Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Able to be on your feet for 75% of the day
