Shift Schedule: 3rd Shift: Monday-Thursday 5pm – 3 or 5am

Pay Rate: $16.50

About the Position

Our client is  the world’s pre-eminent distributor of beverage alcohol, and proud to be a multi-generational, family-owned company. They are currently looking to bring on a team player to fill an exciting role as a Warehouse Associate.

SUMMARY

The Night Warehouse position is responsible for accurately picking wine products for our customers using a voice picking system.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pull and prepare items for shipment or replenishment and/or perform all picking duties in a timely and efficient manner.
• Hand-load product onto power conveyor in a safe, timely and efficient manner. Inspect and ensure that product being loaded for shipping meets the customers receiving requirements and will transport safely.
• Use power equipment to restock product to rack, module and bulk locations. Load, unload, move, stack, store and stage products using a forklift, slip sheet machine, order picker, or other power equipment. The use of an order picker will require activity of heights up to 25.
• Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
• Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse and product.
• Actively support & participate in all warehouse safety and safety committee requests. Perform all other warehouse functions when requested by management.

Requirements:

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required.
• Ability to stand up to 10 hours.
• Steel toed Boots are required.
