RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drives commercial truck to deliver tires to customers as well as other East Bay Tire locations
Performs initial vehicle inspection at the beginning of each shift
Unloads different types and sizes of tires at the delivery site
Collects money from customers on COD accounts
Records delivery information on pick tickets
Collects or picks up rejected tires or unsold merchandise
Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery
Responsible for routine vehicle presentation/cleanliness
Work on special projects and perform other tasks as needed
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Must valid Class C license and insurable
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
Must have at least one year of commercial driving experience (previous warehouse experience helpful)
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to represent the company in a professional manner
Must have good customer service, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to observe safety and security procedures
Someone who is responsible, a quick learner, and has a strong work ethic
Ability to work under pressure and maintain flexibility and organization
Ability to work and regularly be exposed to outside weather conditions
