Dedicated, knowledgeable, responsible/ reliable employee who can work in a fast-pace Distribution Center environment. Person must be flexible to assist in all areas of need within the distribution center including, but not limited to: Distribution, Receiving, Material Movement, Inventory Control and House Keeping. To ensure that the daily requirements of the APUSA Distribution Center is met assist in the daily warehouse functions in /Warehouse, for this Generic Pharmaceutical Company.
Receive materials and conform the information in the packing slip and issued P.O.
Store API, Excipient, Packaging and Printed components and other inventory controlled items on qualified location in the warehouse.
Enforce FIFO (First in First Out) on all material withdrawal.
Monitor all expiry and retest date of all material stored in the warehouse.
Perform daily verification of floor scale to ensure that the scale is providing accurate information.
Check and perform daily inspection of electric forklifts and electric hand trucks.
Provide assistance in movement of the material to sampling team and dispensing team.
Maintain record keeping of all material movement within the warehouse.
Inspection and loading of finished products shipments.
To drive the truck to move the material and equipments within the Aurolife locations.(If required).
Provide forklift operation of material movement within the warehouse.(If required).
Perform sampling of printed packaging materials. (If required).
To verify printed packaging material as per SOP and according to Packaging Batch Record.
Write and revised applicable standard operating procedures(SOPs).
Prepare shipping documents as required.
To perform all entries in ERP system related to the department.
To write the deviations and CAPA for the departmental activities.
Perform any and all additional tasks relating to the ware house department as requested.
Follow company policies, cGMPs, safety and Standard Operating Procedures.
Ability to follow written instructions precisely and perform basic math calculation.
Understanding/knowledge of cGMP, safety criteria or the ability to learn.
Basic computer knowledge.
Ability to operate class forklifts, Electronic pallet Jack & Double reach truck.
High School Graduate.
Up to one (1) year of work experience in a pharmaceutical warehouse environment.
WAREHOUSE OR PRODUCTION POSITION While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to: Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus The worker is subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes The worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside Medium work Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Lifting 8+ Hours – 0-10 Pounds
Category III: Tasks involve no exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues. Category I tasks are not a condition of employment.
