Ensure all parts are ready based on the work required reports. Keep the shop area clean and well organized. Clean excess dust frequently throughout the day. Get cross trained on as many areas of factory operations as possible. Become forklift certified. Become knowledgeable of software utilized to run major manufacturing equipment. Read designs/plans and identify exceptions. Work with cut list/engineering to ensure all CAD related software instructions are correct. Ensure all parts are high quality and chip free. Verify that all parts are available and made correctly for each job so we can have on-time installations. Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control Attend daily meetings and periodic safety committee meetings. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED No experience necessary Ability to stand and lift 50 lbs. consistently throughout the shift. Driver’s license preferred but not necessary Bilingual a plus.
