As a successful candidate, you will work with Government stakeholders at a customer site to develop data architecture, data modeling, and ETL mapping solutions within a structured data warehouse environment.****Responsibilities****Facilitate requirements gathering using expert listening skills and propose suitable solutions to meet the immediate and long-term needs of customers.****Integrate new data sources into customer’s data service architecture and develop web services, REST APIs or similar data access mechanisms necessary to expose data within customer-developed software applications and workflows.****Plan, create, coordinate, and deploy data warehouses.****Design end user interface.****Create best practices for data loading and extraction.****Develop reporting applications and data warehouse consistency.****Oversee design throughout implementation process.****Develop and implement ETL routines according to the data warehouse design and architecture.****Support the development and validation required through the lifecycle of the data warehouse and business intelligence systems, maintain user connectivity, and provide adequate security for data warehouse.****Monitor the data warehouse and BI systems performance and integrity. Provide corrective and preventative maintenance as required.****Have strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.****Have experience in planning and delivering data warehouse platforms used across multiple products and organizational units.****Have expertise and recent hands-on experience with web applications and programming languages and technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and API’s.****Have functional knowledge or hands-on design experience with web services.****Have strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to data warehouse systems.****Establish a training program to train on-site analysts how and when to use established data, techniques and visualization tools leveraging the data warehouse system for their analytical workflows.****Responsible for the entire scope and life cycle of the assigned product lines, software applications, and services to include, but not limited to, design and architecture, documentation, user communication and coordination, security and compliance, underlying infrastructure, as well as adherence and participation in all life cycle and configuration management processes.****Evaluate customer’s data service capabilities and requirements and provide technical recommendations for information architecture, data modeling and data mining enhancements via customer’s IT roadmap.****Support the design and implementation of data access, quality, processing and discovery strategies such as user ranking, tagging, advanced relevancy ranking, automated suggestions, predictive analytics, advanced queries, and data visualization.****Develop software and scripts in Java, Scala, PowerShell and/or similar languages as necessary to prototype, integrate and maintain capabilities for customer’s data architecture.****Develop and deliver briefings, technical proposals and architecture documentation.****Clearly document requirements, specifications, and processes.****Clearly communicate ideas and resolutions to customers in a timely manner.****Required Skills****BS degree in computer science or computer engineering with 5 years of full-time experience in code writing, debugging, documenting, and testing for software creation****3 years of experience managing large scale data warehouse applications****2 years of experience building data warehouse systems that leverage Hadoop Ecosystem technologies within the last 5 years****1 year of experience in Linux administration****1 year of experience using cloud services -AWS preferred****1 year of experience in JAVA within the last three years****1 year of experience using ETL/data integration concepts****1 year of experience with NoSQL search engine technologies such as Solr,Lucene, HBASE, ElasticSearch****Good written and oral communication skills in order to convey to analysts and management the validity and usage of the data warehouse system including how and when to apply them to which data sets.****MUST HAVE ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE**Company Overview: At CACI, you will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact by providing information solutions and services in support of national security missions and government transformation for Intelligence, Defense, and Federal Civilian customers.
