Warehouse – 2nd Shift

DescriptionDICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking Full Time teammates to join our distribution center team in Goodyear, AZ!* Performs the unloading, loading, staging, palletizing and warehousing of cartons* Verifies purchase order, location numbers, case pack quantities and other information prior to receiving, picking or loading merchandise* Sort UPCs for backstock* Moves freight to the appropriate staging area* Use the scan and apply function to process cases* Secures product to skid and shrinkwraps appropriately* Disassembles merchandise to be palletized, shipped or staged in racking* Practices safe and secure loading methods to utilize the maximum amount of trailer space and avoid shipping problems* Practices safe and secure material handling methods and distributes merchandise properly in accordance with processing standards* Reports errors found on documents to Supervisor* Completes all documentation neatly and accurately* Completes appropriate paperwork for orders in trouble* Maintains a safe and clean work environment* Operates manual and mechanical equipment in a safe and efficient manner* Must determine where pallets are to be placed in locations based on box size and product.Shift:2nd: Monday – Thursday 4:00pm – 2:30am *extra $1.00 per hour differentialPositions Available:* Material Handler $18.25/hr* Processing Associate $17/hrQualificationsSuccess Profile:* Must achieve equipment operator certification on the job and operate as necessary for the position* Must be willing to be trained and operate radio frequency (RF) scanning equipment as necessary for the position* Must pass a background check and drug screen* Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull & lift cartons/bins weighing approximately 10-50 pounds repetitively* Ability to keep pace with production standards* Basic reading comprehension and numerical reasoning skills* Manual dexterity* Candidates must be at least 18 years of age
