Warehouse Manager, Sunrise FL

We have an immediate, full-time opportunity for a Warehouse Manager to oversee our under 20,000 sq. ft. Warehouse in Sunrise, FL.  This is a salaried Day Shift position, Monday through Friday (with occasional extra hours during inventory).  This position is a great opportunity for a hands-on, manager to make an immediate impact on a small team through their leadership skills. 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading, training and performance of 2 warehouse employees.
  • Review reports such as stock level, daily return, held for inspection, etc.
  • Inspect warehouse to ensure that it is properly maintained and adhere to proper warehouse safety and fire protocols.
  • Appropriately solve warehouse issues and enforce new processes when necessary.
  • Work with customer care and other DC’s as needed (freight quotes, shipping/receiving, etc.).

Requirements/Education/Experience 

  • Able to lift 50 + pounds & occasionally 100 pounds.
  • Able to directly supervise warehouse staff of 2-4 employees .
  • Possesses excellent time management skills .
  • Works well with minimal supervision .
  • Strong attention to detail to maintain warehouse facility equipment and supplies.
  • Positive demeanor that allows for strong relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Previous experience supervising work flow and needs of facility.
  • 1-3 years of leadership experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Forklift certification preferred.
