This is a Contract position in Roswell, GA posted January 15, 2022.

Position Summary

The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for the receipt, movement, management, and distribution of all raw materials, WIP, including sterilization, and finished goods to support both our internal and external customers at StimLabs. All of this is to be carried out with strict adherence to the processes, procedures, and safety guidelines necessary to meet our Operations, Quality, Regulatory, and customer requirements. The Specialist will manage his/her time to ensure that all functions are completed on time. The Specialist will consistently demonstrate good documentation practices and accuracy of work with all tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receiving:

o Responsible for timely accurate receipt of product, equipment and expense items required for internal customers and manufacturing operations.

o Responsible for receiving records, verifying packing list matches delivered items and quantities, adherence to PO specific requirements and CofC is present and complete when applicable. Communicates to purchasing for deliveries lacking appropriate documentation.

o Responsible for the timely receipt, identification, and logging of all direct and indirect materials.

o Responsible for distribution of MRO receipts to requesters.

o Responsible for the inspection and release of product when designated by specifications.

o Responsible for the accurate and timely transactions that may be associated with the Receiving process.

  • Distribution & Shipping:

o Responsible for all aspects of order fulfillment and distribution of Finished Goods ensuring product is shipped to the customer to meet delivery objectives.

o Maintain communication with Customer Service as to shipment status and priority.

o Monitor the availability of open sales orders in StimLabs Inventory Management System in order to ensure that all orders are processed the same day.

o Carry out shipping processes and transactions with adherence to proper procedure to ensure accuracy of shipping records and traceability of product.

o Carries out the responsibility of packaging of product so that it meets all applicable StimLabs procedures and industry best practices to ensure product quality and integrity

o Responsible for the management, ordering, scheduling and tracking of sterilization loads to and from Sterilization.

o Responsible for carrying out sterilization processes and transactions with adherence to proper procedure to ensure accuracy of records and traceability of product.

o Responsible for the release and stocking of product returned from sterilization.

  • Inventory Management:

o Responsible for all aspects of material control and inventory management of raw materials and finished goods in compliance with quality system procedures and cGMP regulations.

o Execute the cycle count process at prescribed regular intervals to ensure accurate inventory valuation and availability of materials. Provide Inventory Reports as required

o Monitor and manage the expiration dates of raw materials and finished goods to ensure that expiring material is removed from stock prior to expiration and is not distributed to customers or used after expiration.

o Carry out all inventory management process and transactions to ensure accurate inventory and inventory rotation in FEFO/FIFO methodology.

o Communicate any low stock situations to the buyer/planner and prioritize product in Receiving Inspection when necessary to prevent stock out situations.

o Maintain warehouses/stockrooms and work area(s) in a clean and orderly fashion, including trash removal and dusting/sweeping of shelves, tables, and floors.

  • Teamwork:

o Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal customers and colleagues and ensure the open lines of communication.

o Carry out any responsibilities or tasks necessary to support the department, it’s customers, colleagues, and company.

o All other duties as directed by Leadership.

Qualifications

  • High School Degree and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Work experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industry highly preferred.
  • Proficient (intermediate skill level) in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with transactions in an ERP System is desired.
  • Remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
  • Friendly, courteous, service-oriented, and flexible and enjoy working with a variety of staff.
  • Detail oriented and work effectively under pressure while meeting all applicable deadlines.
  • Must be able to work independently and with limited direct supervision.
  • Organized, problem-solving individual who can manage a varied workload with changing priorities.

Physical Demands

  • Standard warehouse environment. Able to sit, stand, or walk for 8 hours, climb, bend and/or crouch, lift up to 40lbs, and work in area(s) with or without HVAC. Work entails scanner, mouse, keyboard, tablet, and the like, usage.
