Be a part of Swift Transportation.Job Responsibilities: What you will doPerform quantitative analysis to capture historical and forecasted market knowledge in order to appropriately respond to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), taking the lead on more complex requests.

Offer continuous improvement of market rates to maximize profitability.Manage pricing for various market accounts and projects; analyze inbound/outbound market Rates Per Mile (RPM), handle large national bids and perform spot bids.

Analyze current market trends, conditions, forecasted economic information and customer pricing for opportunities to increase rate.

Analyze current market trending against historical trending to identify opportunities to proactively react to non-seasonal changes quickly.Construct optimal rate packages and engineered, cost effective rate solutions for carriers/customers through the utilization of route optimization and other specialized, algorithm-based software applications; prepare comprehensive value-add rate proposals that effectively account for customer freight and contract characteristics.

Ensure alignment of unique requirements while adhering to internal company policies/procedures as well as Department of Transportation (DOT) and local, state and federal regulations.Analyze large data sets for risk management, growth and network optimization in both Requests for Proposals (RFP) and historical data sets.

Determine required resources, provide estimated productivity levels and maximize on equipment usage; evaluate and reconcile data from multiple sources to identify business needs.Evaluate the risks in customer accessorial and contract terms to minimize those risks and strengthen profitability.Identify opportunities for improvement; provide recommendationsand contribute to pricing process improvements.

Continuously improve key metrics within area of responsibility.Provide training and support, lending expertise to help develop Pricing Analysts.Assist leadership with development, revision and refinement of pricing model and other tools, as well as work process improvements.Effectively interact at all levels of the company including sales, operations, contracts, billing and senior leadership.Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations.Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by leadership.Copy and paste URL into browser to view full description: https://swifttrans.Jdxpert.Com/ShowJob.Aspx?EntityID=2& Id=3254Qualifications: What you need to bringFour (4) years pricing, transportation or logistics required.
