Responsibilities: The ADS Recycling Facility in Pandora, OH is looking for a Shipping / Receiving Clerk.

This individual will serve a vital role in plant freight operations by scheduling deliveries, coordinate material moving interplant and manage all incoming / outgoing driver check-in and paperwork (including generating bill of ladings and verification of log accuracy).

This role is also responsible for answering incoming calls and being a customer service representative for walk-in guests and vendors.

This position requires the flexibility to work 40 hours per week and weekends, if needed, and will report directly to the Freight Manager.Primary Job Responsibilities:The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Scheduling incoming deliveries / manage daily schedule and communicate schedule with the shipping/receiving team dailyCheck in all drivers at the facility and process all needed paperworkOrder confirmation and file management of all S/R paperworkCommon carrier/UPS billingInter-plant billingAssist Freight Manager in building trips within Loadmaster and assisting internal drivers with trip envelopesCall management/answer multi-line phone and manage all visitors into the facilityData entry support for manufacturing, freight and accountingPractice proper PPE compliance and maintain a safe working record and environmentMaintain and build job skills through internal and external training programsJob Skills:This position should possess the following skills/knowledge:Self-motivated, dependable and team orientedIntermediate computer skills (MS Office) and mathematical skillsExudes a high level of professionalismAbility to learn new skills and implement process improvements for additional efficiencyStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to multi-task while still seeing all projects through to completionSuperior organization and time management skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely mannerHigh energy with a continuous improvement, attention to detail, exceptional accuracy when completing data entry/order and have a customer service mindsetEducational Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred but not required (including candidates in the process of obtaining their degree)Preferred Experience:1-2 years office/computer experienceExperience with Oracle and/or LoadMaster systemsPrior shipping/receiving work history / experience showing stability and a depth of the skill set neededPhysical Requirements:Employee occasionally might be lifting heavy objects and must have the ability to lift 25 pounds if neededEmployee might be required to sit and/or stand for a specified amount of time and must have the ability to sit and/or stand at a minimum for 8 hoursEmployee will be typing, answering the phone, and using their hands in other ways throughout the day and must have full use of their hands EEO Statement: Advanced Drainage Systems is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
