Shipping & Receiving/Warehouse Associate Pay Range: $18/hour

Shipping & Receiving/Warehouse Associate Schedule: Mon-Fri 8-4:30 PM

Shipping & Receiving/Warehouse Associate Start Date: ASAP

The Shipping & Receiving/Warehouse Associate position in South Portland, Maine is responsible for operating warehouse equipment daily, such as; forklift, pallet jacks, push carts, pallet wrapper, and other equipment to receive, move, store and ship products as necessary. You will have a solid understanding of stocking shelves and assisting with inventory levels for all product lines, picking and palletizing large orders as necessary, and packing and processing items through shipping systems and producing shipping labels. Successful candidates will aid in maintaining good housekeeping in the warehouse and perform all necessary functions associated with the warehouse and other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor. This is a full time position.

Shipping & Receiving/Warehouse Associate Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly without assistance
• Basic understanding of computer shipping software and carrier websites
• Basic reading and math skills
• Light mechanical/technical skills are helpful
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with forklift, pallet jacks, pallet wrapper, ladders, carts and computers is preferred
