Job Description

The Bosch Research and Technology Center in Sunnyvale, CA is looking for a highly motivated individual to support Bosch products, including polymer electrolyte fuel cell (PEMFC) systems.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Research in overcoming the fundamental technological barriers for PEMFC for electric vehicles
  • Use of PEMFC test stands to measure performance and aging of single cells
  • Electrochemical and physical characterization of fuel cells and materials
  • Use advanced characterization techniques to measure degradation in PEMFC aged samples
  • Interface with modeling experts to identify and measure fuel cell parameters related to performance and degradation
  • Collaboration with academic and national lab partners

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • PhD in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or related discipline
  • Experience in electrochemistry, both experimental and theoretical
