Research Coordinator – RN – Float – Full Time Day

Job Description

The Opportunity:

Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Nurse Research Coordinator to join our research team to assist with providing and coordinating care for patients active in research studies across various departments. As a Registered Nurse in this position, you will perform procedures, identify potential study participants, assist with scheduling labs and procedures, process study related paperwork, record study data, and provide patient education for multiple research studies at various research stages simultaneously.

This position will float between various department areas within research.

Shift Details: Monday – Friday

* Minimal weekend expectations

This is a wonderful opportunity to work with nationally recognized providers and leaders in clinical research, interventional devices and treatment options.

The Work:

* Supports, facilitates and coordinates the daily clinical trial activities and plays a critical role in the conduct of the study.
* Works under the direction of the clinical Principal Investigator PI.
* Works with the PI, department, sponsor, and institution to support and provide guidance on the administration of the compliance, financial, personnel and other related aspects of the clinical study.
* This position will support Cardiovascular Research.

Basic Life Support – American Heart Association or Red Cross
