Position Overview
The Discovery group based in South San Francisco at Adaptive Biotechnologies is helping to identify TCR-based therapeutic candidates and clinically useful biomarkers.
Our team is developing a world-class high-throughput TCR discovery platform.
Our mission is to resolve the T cell repertoire by combining Adaptives core next generation TCR sequencing with cellular immunology assays to identify antigen-specific TCRs at an unprecedented scale.
Our goal is to produce clinically useful TCR-based biomarkers and therapeutics, and ultimately to map the universe of antigens recognized by human T cells.
Adaptive is seeking an accomplished, creative, and highly motivated Research Associate II to join the Discovery team in South San Francisco.
You will play a key role in the design and implementation of cellular assays aimed at identifying and characterizing T cells, including assays measuring T cell antigen specificity and function.

Requirements
in Immunology, Cancer Biology, or related discipline with 2+ years of experience (or Master’s degree with some experience)

Working Conditions
Requires working in a laboratory handling human biological specimens, flexibility and willingness to work more than standard hours when necessary, including nights & weekends, etc.
The position may require extended periods of time at the laboratory bench and the ability to lift 20 kg.
