Delpor is a clinical stage life sciences company that utilizes innovative drug-delivery technologies in order to develop once-yearly therapies for chronic conditions.  The Company’s lead product is a 6-12-month formulation of Risperidone (drug/device combination product) for the treatment of schizophrenia.  Delpor is also pursuing 6-12 month formulations of other drugs targeting CNS conditions including Neuromuscular Diseases, Neurodegenerative Diseases, Addiction, and other disorders.

Research Associate

We are looking for a Research Associate to join our research team. The selected candidate will become a key member of our team, join a company with groundbreaking technology at the time of its growth spurt, and make vital contributions in bringing cutting edge products to market that can benefit millions of patients. This person will report to the Sr. Manager of Analytical Chemistry and Quality Controls.

Requirements

• B.S./B.A. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field and/or 2-3 years of experience as a bench or QC chemist

• Willingness and ability to follow good laboratory practices and maintain a lab notebook

• Strong analytical skills including ability to enter and manipulate data in Excel

• Strong writing skills

• Must be reliable and a team player

• Must have some schedule flexibility

• Excellent time management and coordination skills and the ability to prioritize workloads and schedules

Desired Skills and Experience

-   Experience using standard analytical chemistry equipment (e.g. HPLC, GC, KF)

-   Experience in a regulated GLP/GMP environment

-   Knowledge of existing drug delivery technologies
