Forensic Psychology and Targeted Violence Post-Doctoral Research Fellow
The University of Nebraska Public Policy Center (PPC) is seekinga postdoctoral fellow based in Lincoln to perform targeted violenceresearch (e.g., threat assessment, workplace violence, stalking,extremist violence) and forensic training. The fellowship is anon-tenure leading, two-year appointment. The goal of thefellowship will be to develop advanced clinical, research andconsultation skills to address various areas of targeted violence.In addition to joining ongoing research activities examiningvarious aspects of the prevention, detection and management oftargeted violence, the fellow will assist with the development ofnew research efforts. The Fellow will also participate withrelevant clinical and consultation opportunities, The postdoctoralfellow will join a diverse research interdisciplinary team withinthe PPC that engages in a variety of research and consultationactivities involving private and public sector partners. Thepostdoctoral fellow will be mentored by PPC researchers onclinical, consultation, grant writing, publishing, and otherresearch-related activities.
The postdoctoral fellowship is open to applicants who will havesuccessfully completed a doctoral program in psychology, criminaljustice, or related field by May 2022. Applicants must complete alldoctoral requirements before commencement of the fellowship. Priorresearch experience is preferred. Experience with applied researchdesign, methodology, and statistical analysis is alsopreferred.
