The Research Assistant (RA) is responsible for coordinating human clinical research activities for NIH-funded research projects involving participants recruited from several clinics within Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
The candidate will work closely with the Principal Investigator (BWH Emergency Medicine Attending Physician) and a supervisor while working with an interdisciplinary team of physician assistants, research nurses, clinicians, and other research staff.
He or she will be primarily responsible for the ED GOAL projects (link) which aim to empower patients with serious illness to align their future medical care with their values and goals in the emergency department.
