Duties:Maintain all transportation records for the companyResponsible for maintaining all finished product inventories for the companyDevelop transportation plansWork with ship site location personnel to coordinate all shipping activitiesWork with ship site location managers to improve operational and performance metrics Provide information, recommendations, and coordinate project implementation for transportation and logistics efficiency opportunitiesProvide guidance on import/export Freight Classification, Harmonization Coding, Country of Origin, NAFTA Certificates of Origin, and C-TPAT management and complianceMonitor and provide summary reporting on inbound and outbound core carrier compliance, low cost and lane award carrier complianceEnsure timely submission of operation templates from carriers including a carrier scorecard, monthly reporting, and operational excellence metricsCoordinate and distribute all shipping templates (BOL’s, labels, stencils, etc.) to ship site locations Skills:Proficient in Microsoft Office – strong excel skills.
ERP experienceCH Robinson or 3rd party logistics experienceMust be able to multitask and have strong organization and communication skillsMinimum of 5 years experience in logistics role.Working Conditions:Office environment
