The position will be responsible for serving as a strategic business partner who seeks to understand business issues and consistently uses data and analytics to develop engaging insights to improve financial and operational performance.
Delivering self-service reporting/dashboards and advanced analytics insights integrated into business decision-making is a key objective.
Partnering with leadership to understand the business pain-points and identifying insights using advanced techniques such as predictive analytics etc.
Your Work Falls into Two Primary Categories: Market Research Conduct research across category trends, customer insights, and competitive activity, drawing upon multiple data sources.
Work with Sales and Marketing colleagues to develop insights to share with marketing strategy and communications teammates, and then collaborate to ensure marketing efforts are compelling and differentiating.
Assist with specific research projects and help to ensure that marketing strategies are developed and delivered on time and on budget.
Marketing Analytics Support presentations to both marketing and business stakeholders, as well as reporting on marketing program KPIs.
Produce meaningful marketing KPI dashboards and delivering monthly, cross channel performance reports with actionable insight.
Analysis of digital campaigns Qualifications Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree required; Business Information Technology, Economics, Statistics or Finance degrees preferred 1 year mortgage industry or financial services 2 years recent (preferably professional) experience with analytical and/or data manipulation tools such as SQL, SAS, R Advanced qualifications or experience in Statistics, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science or related field Experience in analyzing and manipulating large data sets Proven quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and high quality self-review of work products Must be able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, identify and escalate issues appropriately to supervisors and management, and assimilate constructive feedback Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven problem solver with excellent written and oral communication skills Experience with research tools, marketing metrics and methodologies Knowledge of and experience with single-family mortgage, preferably related to GSEs.
