FT M-F Days
This is a work-from-home position.
The ability to work from home may change based on business needs.
Summary:
Responsibility for development, maintenance, and analysis of a wide array of market, network and other data to support the initiatives and business plans of Akron Children’s Hospital.
Assists in other activities of the strategy and business development and PR and marketing departments, as needed.
Responsibilities:
Maintain knowledge base of data sources available for use in strategy, business development and marketing activities, including strategic and business planning, market research and other initiatives
Evaluate and determine which sources provide the most reliable, timely and meaningful data
Facilitates data collection, analysis and reporting for hospital and PR initiatives
Recognize and capitalize on opportunities to improve data collection processes and accuracy.
Develop and maintain dashboards and standard reports as requested
Maintain resources of project data, summary results/analysis, data collection tools, presentations, etc
Other duties as required
Technical Expertise
Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills required, with emphasis on attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Customer service mindset and superior interpersonal and communication (verbal, written, and listening) skills required
Experience providing information in new and end-user friendly ways is required
Familiarity with medical coding is preferred
Experience in healthcare is preferred
Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software is required.
Epic Systems, Strata, Qlik, SAP WebI software is preferred
Database knowledge, data visualization, and basic SQL or other query language is preferred
Education and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in analytics, business, statistics or related field is required.
Years of relevant experience: 3-5 years in analytics or related field.
Master’s degree will be considered in lieu of experience.
