Logistics Flow Engineer

Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Logistics Flow Engineer in our Franklin, TN HUB location.

As the Logistics Flow Engineer you will lead supply chain flow optimization projects for the North and Central America Regions that directly impact our sustainabilty initiatives and supply chain performance through reductions in transport cost, CO2, lead-time, inventory, duties and tariffs.

What do you get to do in this position?

Support sustainability and shorten supply chain STRIVE program (Schneider Electric intiative program) objects through the implementation of new flows and the optimization of existing North American flows
Responsible for applying global Project Management methods and tools to execute all phases of flow optimization projects (from pre-study planning through implementation and run state support)
Prepare and defend business case and project ROI calculations (including impact on lead time, inventory, cost to serve, transport, distribution and IT development)
Collaborate with cross functional teams (including Distribution, Finance, Marketing, Industrialization, IT, Network Modelling, Supply Chain Planning, Transport, Tax and Customs) to gather information required for accurate analysis and other project inputs
Work closely with decision makers, system owners, and ends users to define business requirements, goals, and identify and resolve gaps
Communicate with business units, functional stakeholders to escalate issues, resolve constraints and prepare the organization for the flow changes.

Document functional business requirements and interpret into system designs, utilize standard templates to define requirements and functional specifications
Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations or alternatives that address existing and potential problem areas in supply chain processes and systems across the organization
Collaborate with Network Modelling to analyze and model flow scenarios and total cost to serve in region
Prepare and present regional flow scorecards, dashboards and reports
Represent NAM region in Global Skill Network, prepare and present NAM projects and share best practices with global peers

This job might be for you if:
Fluent in English (advanced verbal and written communications)
Detail oriented with experience creating business cases with ROI calculations
Experienced in Supply Chain Planning, Network Flow Design, Trade & Transport and supporting ERP master data and systems.

Project Management experience and interest (well organized and disciplined)
Enjoy complex, detailed and challenging systems working including data extracts and analysis Quick to learn with the capacity of mastering data and reporting tools
Have strong analytical and problem solving skills
Be proactive to find opportunities for solution enhancements
Take Initiative to collaborate with cross functional experts to root cause issues and address solution gaps
Effective working on teams, within and outside of your function
Advanced knowledge of MS Office Tools (MS Power Point, Excel)
