Logistics Data Analyst III with Security Clearance

Summary The Logistics Analyst III performs equipment performance assessments, utilizing reliability, maintainability, and availability (RM&A). The Logistics Analyst III assists in development of new reporting dashboards and standards, generates reports with minimum supervision, and assists with financial data management. Responsibilities * Conduct performance assessments of CBP high technology inspection equipment by analyzing historical maintenance data through RM&A metrics, failure mode identifiers, statistical analysis, etc. to identify areas of concern, trends, and strengths, etc. * Use Microsoft Access and Excel to develop applications and tools needed to create customer reports. Power BI is also used. * Contribute to development and review of internally and externally generated technical documents, manuals, analyses, and work instructions, etc. * Interface with CBP customers at various levels providing both tactical and strategic analysis and support. * Familiarize oneself with CBP high technology inspection equipment and become a subject matter expert (SME) for select equipment and equipment families. * Record failure mode identifiers, including problem, failure, cause, and action taken in the historical maintenance database on completed work orders. * Assist with financial tracking for Operations Manager. * Download a variety of technical data and update maintenance support databases. * Develop dashboard tools using data visualization software. * Apply process improvement principles to all application tools and reports. * May be required to travel to sites to participate in equipment relocation tasks, like site surveys, physical movement, disassembly, and/or disposal of CBP equipment. * May require oversight and training of junior or support staff. * Other duties as assigned Qualifications * Associate degree OR * High school diploma or GED and 5+ years of experience in a related field. * 3+ years of experience in data mining and data analysis or additional education in lieu of direct experience. * Must pass an initial drug screening and will be subject to random screening thereafter * Background check required and will be required to obtain a CBP Public Trust clearance Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Microsoft Office Suite intermediate level required in Excel (expert preferred) and a beginner level in Access required. * Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tool a strong preference. * Experience in creating analytical documents and reports, like trend analyses, technical summaries, and statistical summaries. * Demonstrated knowledge of financial and data tracking and related principles required * Quick learner. * Ability to plan and accomplish logistics support goals while working as a member of an integrated team that includes Maintenance, Logistics, and Engineering. * Must be able to occasionally lift to 25 lbs. * Strong analytical background/skills. * Solid communications (oral and written). * Self-starter, ability to work with minimal supervision and in a multi-tasking environment. * Solid prioritization and time-management skills. * Mechanical aptitude a plus. * MAXIMO or other maintenance management application experience a plus. * Required to adhere to Chenega Corporation mandate that all employees must be fully vaccinated to COVID-19 by December 8, 2021. * #Chenega IT Enterprise Services, LLC
