The 3PL Coordinator is responsible for supporting fulfillment activities across our third-party network, ensuring the operations are performed with the consistency, reliability, and the predictability our various Sales Offices require when servicing their customers from a 3PL location.
The 3PL Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the pick, pack, and ship processes are executed consistently within in the 3PL facilities and are on par with Generac standard for excellence, that the shared tools and applications are deployed as needed and used optimally, and that the pick, pack and ship operations operational performances are meeting Generac’s target and on par with the contractual Service Level Agreement targets.
This position will be support KPI target improvements initiatives through monthly reviews.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitors and supports the 3PL operations financial and operational performances
Reports performance periodically at a regional or DC level (variance analysis, material management / inventory management best practices, mode/service performance, YoY comparison, Actual to Plan)
Participates in the selection, coaching, and development of 3PL partners
Supports continuous improvement initiatives related to 3PL operations
Updates CI program lists and reports periodically on progress
Maintains customer relations by ensuring seamless communication and material flow process from incoming receiving and inspection to shipment of product to customers
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
3 years’ experience in Distribution
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using SAP or equivalent ERP system (Oracle, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics) and Microsoft Office
Experience leading teams or large-scale projects

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand.
The employee frequently is required to use hands to manipulate objects, tools or controls; and talk and hear.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance, waist high, up to 10 feet away.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be working in the typical conditions of a manufacturing environment including seasonal variation in temperatures and occasional exposure to manufacturing fumes or by-products.
The employee must comply with the assigned location PPE requirements including but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, appropriate gloves, clothing and shields for required tasks and closed toed or safety shoes as required by facility safety policies.
