Logistics and Sustainment LeadJob Description

Provide senior-level project support analytic support to the assigned Foreign Military Sales ( FMS ) user and FMS Logistics and Sustainment ( L & S ) Lead.

Support the acquisition and integration of logistics and sustainment products and processes to enable a coherent support solution from initial acquisition of the platform to steady-state sustainment at FMS user sites.

Support planning, scheduling and execution of L & S activities, integration activities, and the oversight and establishment of the long-term sustainment solution for the threat system.

Support the FMS logistic and sustainment ( L & S ) liaison and assigned Foreign Liaison Officer ( FLO ) user and assists in communicating and clarifying the National Defense capabilities and requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following, Aircraft Maintenance, Military Logistics, Acquisition Logistics, Program Management or Military Aviation
• Experience with Micro sof t Office Program Suite
• Knowledge of acquisition logistics and project management methodologies
• BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Knowledge of military aviation life cycle logistics infrastructure and life cycle planning
• Knowledge of the principles, policies , and practices of system acquisition and systems engineering required to plan, organize, and manage critical aspects of the development, production, and deployment of systems, subsystems, and equipment
• Knowledge of information management utilizing standardized program tools, including Content Server ( CS-16 ) and platform Joint Data Library ( JDL )
• Knowledge of Security Assistance / Security Cooperation ( SA / SC ) programs, including possessing an understanding of the FMS sales process from case development, through implementation, execution, and closure, following the current version of the Security Assistance Management Manual ( SAMM ) , DoD 5105.38-M
• Ability to gather and analyze a variety of program information, make sound judgments concerning program progress, and effectively communicate recommendations orally and in writing to higher organizational management
• BA or BS degree in Business, Logistics, Management, or Finance
