The laboratory of Dr.
Dan Perrien has an immediate opening for a Lead Research Specialist.
Dr.
Perrien’s lab, in the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Lipids, uses genetically modified mice, cell culture, and molecular techniques to understand regulators of a rare musculoskeletal disease, including BMP signaling and immune interactions with bone cells.
The candidate must have demonstrated experience with animal handling, in vivo imaging, PCR, RT-qPCR, flow cytometry/FACS, and cell culture.
Position requires rodent handling.
Experience in the field of bone biology or immunology is not necessary but would be advantageous.
