The Inspection Clerk is responsible for the accuracy of all pallets being cut and/or processed within the Cut Order department prior to being released for shipping. The Inspection Clerk is responsible for verifying the style, color, dye lot, and quantity of all shipments and meeting all documented service requirements. This person will research, resolve and document all discrepancies found within the Cut Order department while maintaining files forwarded to Quality Control for adjustments.
Ensure that all materials shipped are verified against pertinent documentation and meets all specifications in the product order Verifies the style, color, dye-lot and quantity of all shipments and meeting all documented service requirements Interfaces with other departments to resolve problems with timely delivery or disposition of order cancellations Ensures that goals are met and sustained daily/weekly/monthly. Identifies roadblocks to processes and procedures and offers suggestions for improvements High school diploma/equivalent preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and AS400 required Knowledge and experience with all department functions required. Knowledge and experience with packaging materials used to safely transport all product required. System and product research abilities required Strong organizational and time management skills Strong and effective communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to follow and issue both verbal and written instructions to direct the work of others to meet customer needs Ability to work under pressure and juggle multiple and changing deadlines in a fast paced environment Great attention to detail Reliability and willingness to work 40+ hours a week to meet deadlines Ability to build strong internal relationships with other departments Ability and willingness to take initiative Willingness to learn and work to the best of his/her ability. The ability to stand for multiple hours at a time and lift up to 30-50lbs.
