The Medical Records Associate works as part of the medical office team performing those clerical duties necessary to follow-up on a patient’s referral and to obtain medical records from a patient appointment that the patient was referred to. These duties include documenting an appointment for the visit if necessary, answering the telephone, obtaining and linking records in a patients medical chart, documenting information accurately, verifying insurance if necessary, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High School Diploma. Travel and use of electronic medical records and other information technology will be required.
