General Office Clerk

Located in White Plains, Maryland as a short-term contract / temporary opportunity, the General Office Clerk will perform various administrative support tasks, including operating office equipment and completing general clerical work.

• Interface with customers in a friendly manner
• Deliver assistance with front desk and receptionist duties
• Provide accurate, friendly customer service without delay
• Receive and place telephone calls as needed
• Performing data entry, word processing, filing, scanning, copying and faxing
• Handle support of diverse projects for other employees as necessary
• Carry out correspondence according to prescribed style and format
• Word and Excel experience is desired
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills
• Adept handling office equipment
• Applicants must hold a high school diploma or its equivalent
• 1 Year of Office Clerk experience at minimum suggested
• Flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments
• Shipping & receiving experience
• Knowledge of data entry
• Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds
