Dextera Corporation, a woman-owned, small business headquartered in Centreville, Virginia is currently seeking candidates to fill General Clerk III positions located in Euclid, OH in support of the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) Field Office Support Services contract.
POSITION SUMMARY The General Clerk III handles high priority information requests and is highly accountable and responsible for safeguarding sensitive information.
This position will use judgment, knowledge and experience to make administrative decisions, resolve issues and elevate issues in accordance with policy and guidelines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provides overall clerical support functions for the processing activities.
Performs a variety of benefit administration and case processing tasks assigned to higher level staff.
Enters data into PBGC’s systems of record.
Performs tasks associated with the document management activities to include plan and participant file maintenance (scanning, indexing and document preparation).
Responds to customer inquiries and telephone calls.
Performs the daily processing of customer interactions.
May support database building activities.
May support issuance of benefit determination letters.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS/QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or GED and two (2) years of related experience.
Must be able to exercise analysis and experience in selecting documented procedures to follow in searching for, interpreting, selecting, or coding items to be entered from a variety of source documents.
Experience working in a call center is preferred.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
May be required to travel for data collection trips.
