Delaware North Parks and Resorts is looking for friendly, outgoing, and customer-service focused Front Desk Clerks to join our team at Tenaya Lodge At Yosemite in Fish Camp, California.

Responsibilities
- Follow all Delaware North Parks and Resorts Environmental GreenPath, GuestPath, OSS, SERV, Code of Conduct, Core Values, Policies and Procedures.
- Demonstrate knowledge of hotel room types, rates, packages, promotions, and other general knowledge necessary to perform daily duties.
- Verify customers’ credit, and establish how the customer will pay for the accommodation.
- Assist guests with folios and charges during check out process, collect payments, and make change for guests.
- Successfully completes the check in process.
- Ensure management is fully aware of any relevant guest feedback.
- Diplomatically handle guest complaints, always polite and maintaining a professional manner.
- Make and confirm reservations.
- Post charges, such as those for rooms, Gift Shop, Restaurants, and Spa
- Learn and use Springer Miller property management system, Microsoft Office programs, and HotSos
- Transmit and receive messages, using telephones or telephone switchboards
- Handle cash, traveler’s checks and credit cards in a safe and accurate manner
- Maintain a positive attitude in high stress situations
- Go the extra mile and follow through to ensure guest satisfaction
- Clean and maintain lobby and common areas, such as restocking supplies, dusting and vacuuming
- Ability to arrive to work regularly, on time, in proper uniform, and prepared
- Cross Train in Concierge to have a good understanding of the processes and procedures. Possibly fill in a shift if needed
Qualifications
- Good interpersonal communication skills in person and by phone.
- Must be able to multitask, function in a professional manner under pressure from guests and supervisors.
- Customer Oriented – Ability to take care of the customers’ needs while following company procedures
- Detail Oriented – Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task
- Working Under Pressure – Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations
- Accountability – Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions
- Responsible – Ability to be held accountable or answerable for one’s conduct
- Honesty / Integrity – Ability to be truthful and be seen as credible in the workplace
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to walk, bend, twist, crouch, push, pull and climb stairs throughout shift.
