Job Description:
The front desk agent has the first encounter with the guests, therefore politeness,
warmth, cheerfulness, and skillful customer service skills reassure guests they’ve
made the right choice to stay with us.
As a front desk agent with you will deliver a great guest experience by checking in and out guests efficiently, and make sure they have all they need for a great stay.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner
Recognizing IHG Rewards Club Members and returning guests
Checks in and out guests, provides guests with hotel information
Required to learn about hotel brand, hotel computer systems and hotel
sales techniques
Ensure required identification is taken from guests at check-in in line with
local legislative requirements
Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction
Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions using
established procedures
Answers external and internal telephone calls taking and delivering
messages as needed
Take action to solve guest problems/complaints using appropriate
service recovery guidelines
Reports any health and safety incidents to the supervisor on duty
Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per
hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service
Carry out other duties as assigned by supervisors on duty
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00
– $14.00 per hour
