Responsibilities:As a Senior or Principal Experience Design Researcher, you will:Lead and support experience design research, measurement and testing across complex and interrelated journeysWork with cross-functional teams to execute on research needed from discovery to launch and beyondConduct end-to-end tactical and longitudinal research, communicate research findings, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure design and development strategy is based upon fact over assumptionWork with our research practice lead and other researchers to evolve our research practice and raise awareness for the value of researchBe part of a team that believes their best work comes from strong collaboration, working together to influence stakeholders, build rapport, and cultivate consensus for excellenceBe a trusted design partner for your team, bringing Integrity and professionalism to every interaction and to every aspect of the work you do.

Qualifications:5-7+ years of experience with experience design research, strategy, service design, interaction design, and/or interface design ideally in a large enterprise, preferably B2B.

Experience in Insurance and/or other Financial Services is a plusAbility to work with cross-functional teams to personally execute on end-to-end research needs (including user experience benchmarking and usability testing), from discovery to launch and beyondA working understanding of research methods including experimental design, generating research plans, defining and tracking experience metrics over time, data analyses (qual and quant), data synthesis, and coordinating work on multiple productsAbility to identify what research is most appropriate for the situation and help define visions, roadmaps, and solutions based on human-centric insights, business viability, and overall feasibilitySolid communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills; the ability to communicate complex interaction concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.Experience working autonomously and collaboratively on complex and ambiguous endeavorsExperience iteratively testing anything from paper prototypes through in-production solutions to inform and recommend better paths to pursueAbility to translate research findings into case studies, research reports and other compelling communications about the impact of research, measurement, and testingStrong Servant Leadership skills EducationBA/BS in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Industrial Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Science, Cognitive Science, Cultural Anthropology, Psychology, Behavioral Economics, a related field, or equivalent practical experienceWe offer our employees a wide range of benefits including career long learning opportunities, tuition reimbursement, 401 (k), pension, flexible schedules, rich health and well-being programs, generous time off allowances, volunteer days and so much more!
