Summary of Warehouse Worker Position Description This position is primarily responsible for receiving, storing, maintaining, and distributing products by performing a variety of common Pick & Pack warehousing-related duties.

Other duties may be assigned.

Core duties and responsibilities include the following ; Reads customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, returns authorization, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.

Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or carts, and conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.

Prepares orders for shipping.

Uses computer to enter records and prepare documents.

Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.

Marks materials with identifying information.

Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.

Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage, or to other designated areas.

Weighs or counts items for distribution within warehouse to ensure conformance to company standards.

· Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
· Exhibits sound and accurate judgment
· Meets productivity standards
· Able to deal with changes in work tasks depending on work volume needs
· Excellent Communicator: Listens well and speaks clearly
· May need to lift up to 50 lb frequently
· Computer literate: Experience with Order Management systems, Excel, Word, and E-mail is a plus
· Certified pallet jack and/or fork lift experience preferred Compensation
