Our location in St Paul, MN, currently has an opportunity for a Data Analyst/Data Warehouse Analyst.
This role will assist in the development of reporting systems and data analytics that provide efficient and quality analytics in supporting business processes.
WHAT YOU’LL DO Demonstrate high degree of analytic agility to meet fluid and dynamic business needs Coordinate with Business Analysts to translate logical reporting data models into technical requirements Analyze source system data and outline logical reporting models using various design philosophies to support specific business data needs Responsible for designing data warehouse components, such as ETL processes and reporting databases Create and maintain system documentation within corporate data quality and regulatory guidelines and ensures it is continually sustained Be an active part of the centralized team responsible for building and managing enterprise information data solutions in Abbott Must have experience with dimensional models, understand the concept of ODS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU’LL BRING REQUIRED Bachelor’s degree in any of the following –Computer Science or equivalent experience 5 years’ experience designing, implementing and supporting multiple reporting and analytic systems Strong problem-solving skills Experience defining logical data models that align with business processes Experience defining ETL process implemented via DataStage, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or Informatica PREFERRED Experience working with data systems in support of the manufacturing and distribution of medical devices.
Experience contributing to validation and quality testing of regulated, quality data systems Understanding of any of the ETL tools DataStage, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or Informatica Experience in any data analytics solution component from AWS and Microsoft Azure.
Experience with PowerBI and Business Objects Web Intelligence Attention to detail and organization/ documentation skills Ability to prioritize and triage deadline-driven tasks in a high-pressure environment Possess good oral and written communication skills.
